What is Microblading?Unlike the tattoo procedure for permanent cosmetics, microblading is a manual method of implanting pigment under the skin. A hand tool with very small needles is used to mimic the appearance of fine hairs to create an eyebrow. The effect is an extremely natural looking brow, sometimes referred to as "3D." Since microblade pigments are not implanted as deep as traditional permanent makeup techniques, the area will naturally fade over time. Expect your microblading to last 1 to 3 years depeding on age, skin type, and other environmental factors. This makes microblading a great option for someone who wants to keep up with the current brow trends.
Choosing the Right TechnicianTraining and experience are extremely important when choosing a technician for your microblading procedure, but for extraordinary results, find a technician who is also an artist.

Scalp Micropigmentation
Scalp Micropigmentation is the process of pigmenting (tattooing) the scalp to simulate the look of a full head of shaved hair. Using a dotting technique with several different pigment colors, I am able to create the illusion of shaved hair. This will camouflage any area of the scalp that is balding.
Another technique used to simulate hair is featherstrokes. I have used this technique on female Alopecia clients. This process makes it appear as if there is short hair growing, helping to mask the scalp from shining through very thin hair. It doesn't make the client's own hair appear thicker, it simply camouflages the scalp from being so obvious. The most important part of both of these procedures is the design of the hairline and the shade and density match where the pigmented area meets the hairline. Typically, the complete process of tattooing the scalp takes 6 to 10 hours which is split up in 3 to 4 sessions. These sessions range between $300 and $800, bringing the total cost to $1200 and up.
Scalp Mcropigmentation can help people with many hair loss issues. It can give the youthful look of a full, shaved head of hair by simulating a front, side and/or rear hairline, thus restoring the hairline on a partial or fully bald head. Scalp micropigmentation can also camouflage the symptoms of hair loss in Alopecia as well as camouflage burns, scars, birthmarks and scarring resulting from hair transplant surgery.
If you are considering scalp micropigmentation, schedule a complimentary consultation with me. I can give you a quote and provide more details of what technique would be most beneficial to you.
